West Basketball Academy [WBA] is a youth basketball school based in Ilion, western Athens. With its own youth team competing in the local leagues, WBA promotes athletic development and teamwork through structured training and active participation.

We were tasked with designing the team’s emblem, a visual identity that reflects both the competitiveness of the game and the energy of its young athletes. The main emblem features a crowned fox, gripping the basketball.

Its posture and stylized features strike a balance between intensity and approachability, perfectly suited for a youth team. The crown subtly forms the letter W, anchoring the identity to the team’s name and location. The emblem was designed primarily for use on the team’s jersey, where its presence adds character and cohesion.
