Paws Off - Merch Collection by EmpowerVan
EmpowerVan is an initiative focused on empowering marginalized and displaced individuals through self-defense training as a means of violence prevention. As part of their awareness efforts, they launched a merch collection titled Paws Off, spotlighting themes of strength, autonomy, and resistance.
We created a series of bold, punk-infused designs for t-shirts, socks and tote bags, using cat imagery as a playful yet sharp metaphor. The illustrations balance cuteness and ferocity, capturing the duality of this mysterious animal. The result is a visual language that’s unapologetic, a little aggressive and fully in tune with the message of standing one's ground.
