Invisible Piraeus - A photobook for the homeless of the Greek port city
Commissioned by the Society of Psychosocial Studies [EPSYME] and the Municipality of Piraeus, Invisible Piraeus is a photographic book that sheds light on the often overlooked lives of the city’s homeless population. Through striking street photography and contextual texts, the book brings visibility to stories typically left untold.

The design embraces a minimal and contemplative approach, allowing space for the emotional weight of the subject to come through. One striking photograph was chosen for the cover, paired with clean, understated typography. Inside, the layout uses thoughtful pacing, full-spread images, and subtle detailing to evoke a sense of isolation, stillness, and the lingering feeling of being left behind, sentiments that echo throughout the photographs themselves.
